So you took the LEAP and now what? ⁉️

Jerry Morla

Maybe those with financial stability and security find it easier to take the leap and start businesses or encourage others to venture into the unknown. However, for those pushed by circumstances such as job loss, health problems, burnout, or family issues, the reality can be different.

The Bible recounts the story of the Israelites, a captive people who were held in a land of restrictions, limitations, and distress (Mitzrayim) for 400 years.

Their value was determined only by the bricks they made and their rulers sought to suppress them by increasing their workload and subjecting them to undue hardship.

The rulers also sought to get their minds away from God by increasing production quotas and reducing resources (ruler imposed hyperinflation and punitive, skyrocketing costs). The Israelites cried out to God, who heard their cry and with His own hand, freed them from captivity.

As the Israelites journeyed to the Promised Land, fear took hold and they were bitten by fiery serpents. The Hebrew word used for fiery serpents was "saraph", which also refers to seraphim, indicating both spiritual torment and physical bites. Many were dying until the people repented and asked Moses to intercede for them.

In biblical Hebraic thought, repentance means turning away from sin and returning to God in obedience. When the Israelites repented, God instructed Moses to erect a bronze serpent on a pole for them to look at and be healed.

They had to trust in God's promises to be made whole and live!

If you've taken the leap and are wondering "what now?" remember to trust in God's promises. He may have taken you from a place of apparent security to lead you to something new, better, and unachievable if you had stayed where you were.

Look at fear in the face and trust God!!

He will lead you and provide! He is a Great Big God! 🔥

Rise up and lead!
