There was once an army, perhaps the greatest in the world at the time, that had lost all hope upon the threat posed by an invincible paladin on the enemy’s side 😫
However, one young and seemingly unqualified man, who was not even part of their ranks, came through for them and led them through #victory! 💥💥💥
“You come to me with a sword, with a spear, and with a javelin. But I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied. 46 This day the Lord will deliver you into my hand, and I will strike you and take your head from you. And this day I will give the carcasses of the camp of the Philistines to the birds of the air and the wild beasts of the earth, that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel. 47 Then all this assembly shall know that the Lord does not save with sword and spear; for the battle is the Lord’s, and He will give you into our hands.” - 1 Samuel 17:45
When he first showed up, no one believed that he could challenge the giant. They persuaded him to try on the armor of the king, which was the best their most expert blacksmiths could produce. However, they soon discovered that what was within him was more than enough to take on and overcome the giant, to restore their #hope, and give them the #strength they needed to win 🚀
This young man had not gone to Ivy League schools, nor had moved among high circles… However, as a shepherd who for years had tended to his sheep in the field, he had fought lions and beasts to protect them, learning to fight with whatever could gather from the wilderness….
🖐 5 smooth stones were enough for him! 💥💥🔥🔥
💣 The king’s armor and counsel of officers and rulers were of no help, after all, 👉 they had never defeated giants themselves.

While the giants send their shield bearers ahead to make noise and instill fear in others, the army of God finds #rests in these #promises:
“Hear, O Israel: Today you are on the verge of battle with your enemies. Do not let your heart faint, do not be afraid, and do not tremble or be terrified because of them; for the LORD your God is He who goes with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you.” 💥🌪️🏹⚔️❤️🔥
“In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”… #Yeshua 🙌❤️🔥💥🚀
